Many people think that **"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet"** is just a random typing on the keyboard that means nothing. In fact, since the 1500s, it has existed in publications on ethics and thought by the legendary Roman philosopher Cicero.
Why does every Designer/Dev use it?
The reason is that when you demo an interface (Web Templates) using real text, the reviewers (Clients) will tend to focus on the "text content" and argue whether the wording is correct, instead of focusing on the "overall aesthetics". Dummy text has an extremely even distribution of short and long words, very suitable for checking line-height or margin before putting real content into the system.
